18 I will set out and[a] go to my father and will say to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight![b] 19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son! Make me like one of your hired workers.’ 20 And he set out and[c] came to his own father. But while[d] he was still a long way away, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and embraced him[e] and kissed him.
